26-Sword Presence of a Goddess that wasn't supposed to be known about was common knowledge in the local community. Though De kept to herself most of the time, training and making rent out of her own kitchen, anyone who should happen across her should know. It's not like her training gave her much chance to hide her aura after all. One can only do that through casting dormancy or reducing their abilities by choice for an extended period. She was maintaining over a dozen spells at all times and trying to push herself further when she had the chance.

25-Twins "What's wrong with your aura?" Lu broke the silence.
It was nearing dinnertime where they were before the teleportation, but where they ended there was still another hour before that point. The sky was much clearer, and the air was warmer. Without the towering buildings in every direction, you could actually spot a natural horizon, mountaintops to the west, something Max thought wouldn't occur within the "endless" city. There was less noise and fewer pedestrians, but every corner had a restaurant, or any other business you could possibly need that didn't stand out as much at the mental state Max was in.

A Game about Dreams "Real" world logic should be suspended for the entirety of the game. If it vaguely sounds like it could possibly happen in a dream, it's fair play. There's nothing saying the Dreamers couldn't sprout wings to approach a dark tower, but still have to climb to the top by running up the stairs.

Statistics allow players to attempt things, but each has a beneficial factor from being high or low. Thus stats are completely up to choice for their values. They each represent a vague aspect of a personality, nothing is as constant as physical qualities or cognitive ability.

24-Chance Meeting It was two hours before dinnertime when Max and Lu set off on their journey. They opted to use one of the public teleport chambers as while the school's had a smaller fee, the public chambers had the option to pay without renting an operator. There was no way of telling when they would be returning home, and it turned out Max was a pretty talented Mage. Lu was coming to terms with Max being a surprising study.

So, I now serve Ice Cream for a living.

Expensive Ice Cream...

And it's pretty awesome, especially since my work week is shorter than my weekend... possibly because my work week is the weekend. It pays the bills... but not much else. So I guess I'm going to keep looking for a second, though I kind of doubt they'll keep me working so little with the fact that there's four people on the entire crew.

But whatever.

Life is good.
